What are the degree programs that TCIPS offer?

Programs offered by TCIPS include the following:
Certificate
Diploma
Associates Science Degree
Bachelors of Business Administration Degree

How long does it take to complete a program?

Certificate- 1 Semester plus internship (9 months)
Diploma- 2 Semesters plus internship (1 year)
Associate Degree- 5 Semesters plus internship (2 years)
BBA- 7 Semesters plus internship (3 years)

How long is the internship program?

Certificate- 120 hours
Diploma- 240 hours
Associate- 400 hours
BBA- depending on experience of applicant


What if i do not have enough CXC or GCE?  

  • Students without CXC or GCE will need to start at a  certificate level. If they wish to progress to a higher degree level, students must maintain a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.6.

  • Mature students can apply by completing a portfolio. Mature students are persons over 21 years of age and more than three years related work experience.

I have completed my CXC/GCE recently can I apply?

Yes, this would be a conditional acceptance. Once results have been received, students need to provide proof of passes.

Would I be eligible to apply for scholarship studying at TCIPS?

Yes. Students need to pick up a copy of guidelines for scholarship and application process from our office.

How do I know if the scholarship is granted?

You would be notified in writing from the granting body.

Why are most classes offered in the evenings?

Classes are offered in the evenings because we use industry professionals to teach our courses and they are only available in the evenings based on work commitments.

What is the application fee and is it refundable? 

  •  Application fee for all degree and professional programs are $50.00.
  • Application fee is non-refundable.

I attended another institution, can I transfer my credits there towards my degree at TCIPS?

Students must be in good standing from an accredited institution. Transcript must be sent directly to registrar's office that would then consider whether or not credits can be transfered.

What is and Entrance test?

The institution requires that all students entering the institution must sit an entrance exam in both English and Math.

What is the pass mark on the acceptance test.

this test is a competency test. You are tested and placed based on your competency level.

What are the application requirements?

  •  Completed application form.
  • Copy of official transcripts from high school or previously attended institution.
  • Copy of high school diploma
  • Copy of CXC or GCE certificates
  • 2 passport size photographs
  • Copy of passport or Birth certificate
  • Two reference letters
  • A resume
  • Application fee.
